Julie A. Dagenhart, MSN, PMHNP-BC

PSYCHIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER - BOARD CERTIFIED

Julie is a graduate of Shenandoah University where she received master’s degrees in Nursing for Health Systems Management and Advanced Practice Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She has worked with all age groups and a wide range of mental health needs.

She provides quality patient care through advanced assessment, diagnosis, collaborative planning and education, medication management, and ongoing evaluation of individual goals and treatment effectiveness.

Molly K. Aitken, DNP, PMHNP-BC

PSYCHIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER - BOARD CERTIFIED

Dr. Aitken is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore where she received her doctorate in Nursing and Advanced Practice Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She believes that everyone deserves the ability to live their best life, regardless of their history or current situation. During her first 20 years of nursing, she worked with mental health clients in both the emergency room setting and the state correctional institution setting. 

She enjoys working with clients of all ages, genders, and ethnicities and has a special interest working with adolescents, LGBTQ+ youth and adults, and clients with trauma. 

Sarah Amato, MSN, PMHNP-BC

PSYCHIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER - BOARD CERTIFIED

Sarah is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with 20 years of prior nursing experience. Her recent roles have included working in an adult inpatient behavioral health unit and providing care in emergency room crisis settings. Sarah’s earlier nursing career spanned various specialties, including NICU, labor and delivery, postpartum, and mastectomy care. She has a particular passion for supporting new mothers struggling with postpartum depression and adjusting to motherhood. Sarah also has a deep commitment to serving military members, both veterans and active duty, having been a military spouse for 16 years. Through her personal and professional experiences, Sarah has gained invaluable insight into the importance of mental health and the transformative power of empathy, kindness, and compassion in times of crisis. She is eager to help individuals facing mental health challenges and is dedicated to guiding them toward regaining their best selves.

Renee Dagenhart, MSN, PMHNP-BC

PSYCHIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER - BOARD CERTIFIED

Renee is a graduate of Walden University where she received her master’s degree in Advanced Practice Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Throughout her nursing career, she has gained experience in both the fast-paced environment of the emergency room crisis setting and the specialized care of the adult inpatient psychiatric unit.

She takes great pride in providing empathetic and nonjudgmental care, creating a welcoming environment for individuals from diverse communities to feel safe and supported. Her aim through medication management is to engage collaboratively with individuals, while empowering them to lead fulfilling lives to their utmost potential. 

Anna Elwood, MSN, PMHNP- BC

PSYCHIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER - BOARD CERTIFIED

With over forty years of healthcare experience Ms. Elwood brings a wealth of experience and skill in treating patients across the lifespan. She excels in treating a myriad of mental health conditions and is committed to meeting patients where they live with dignity and respect. Treating such diversity with equity and inclusion and understanding that all patients deserve respect and unconditional positive regard is the bedrock of her treatment. As a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Elwood has provided mental health care treatment in the community outpatient setting, acute hospital setting and residential settings. She treats patients across the lifespan from children to older persons who are struggling to cope with the often-complex uncertainties of daily life and may benefit from medication management. She readily collaborates with all healthcare providers to provide holistic care and understands that a team approach to mental health care is critical to maintain a healthy mind-body connection. 

Leah McWethy, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Leah is a graduate of Maryville University where she received her master’s degree in Advanced Practice Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She provides compassionate, patient-centered mental health care for individuals of all ages and backgrounds. She believes in improving access to high quality mental health care and helping her clients reach their treatment goals.
